Boil Water Notice

PB&SC Water has issued a boil water notice for all members on Well #4.  An electrical problem caused the tank to drain and pressure to drop.  Tank is refilling at this time.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required PB&SC Water to notify all customers in the affected area to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g. washing hand/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc.)  Children, seniors and persons with weakend immune systems are particularty vulnerable to harmful bacteria and all customers should follow there directions.

To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or humand consumption purposes.  The water should be brought to a rigorous rolling boil and then boild for two minutes.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, PB&SC Water officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking and human consumption purposes.

Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly.

If you have any questions concerning this matter you may contact PB&SC water at 936-377-4811.

Winter is here!

Good morning customers!

We would like to send out a friendly reminder to winterize your pipes! Our area is going to get some freezing weather this weekend. Wrapping pipes, drawing up water in case of an emergency, also don't forget to winterize any outside water sources. Our contractors have prepped the wells and made sure the generators are serviced and ready to go in the event of a power outage. Please keep calls to the emergency line limited to emergencies only, such as complete water loss or extreme low pressure. Please take all precautions to keep yourselves safe during this storm/freeze!
