Boil Water Notice

PB&SC Water has issued a boil water notice for all members along 980 South. The water had to be shut off to repair line leaks.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required PB&SC Water Supply to notify all customer in the affected area to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g. wahihg hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors and persons with weakend immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria and all customer should follow the these directions.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking cooking and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to used for drinkng water or human consumptions purposes. The water shoud be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, PB&SC Water officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking and human consumption purposes.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly.

Line Repair

Customers on FM 980 South please be advised that our contractor is out in the field making a repair to a line. The water will have to be shut off in order to make the repair. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!
