Boil Water Notice

June 26, 2025

PB&SC Water has issued a boil water notice for all members on Well #4 due a water line break.  Crews are preparing to fix the leak at this time.  Utility lines are being located prior to digging.  Note:  your well is printed on the water bill. 

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required PB&SC water supply to notify all customers in the affected are to boil their water prior to consumption (eg. washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc).  Children, seniors and persons with weakend immune systems are paticularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria and all customer should follow these directions.

 To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinkiing water or human consumption purposes.  The water should be brought to rigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. 

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, PB&SC Water officials will notify custmomers that the water is safe for drinking and human consumption purposes.  

Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly.
