PB&SC Water has issued a boil water notice for all members on Well #2 - Raven Hill area due a contractor breaking the company water line requiring the water be shut off. Service has been restored.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required PB&SC Water to notify all customers in the affected area to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g. washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinkiing, etc). Children, senior and persons with weakend immune systesms are partucularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria and all customers should follow these directions.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes water for drinking, cooking and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumptions purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, PB&SC officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking and human consumption purposes.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received the note directly.

Update to main line break: This effects customers on Well #2. At this time we are not sure if a boil water notice will need to be issued. We will update as we know more. Thank you for your patience as well as being valued customers!

Please be advised we have a main line break on Kittrell rd. Customers on well #2 may expierence low water pressure due to the break. Our contractors are in route to make repairs. Thank you!

PB&SC has issued a boil water notice for all residents along FM 156 from 190 to Stephens Creek and the sidestreets due to a contractor breaking a water line.
The Texas Commisssion on Environmental Quality has required PB&SC Water Supply to notify all customers in the affected area to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g. washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Childeren, senior and persons with weakend immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria and all customer should follow these directions.
